Eyebrow Threading

What is "Threading?"   An ancient Indian technique for removing facial hair; it is very delicate procedure, making it suitable for even the most sensitive skin. The art of threading may be seen in the gentle and precise twisting of a length of cotton thread which is twisted along the hairs which are to be removed. The twisting action of the thread traps the hair and lifts it out of the follicle. Threading is more effective and less painful than tweezing; hair re-growth becomes finer and more sparse after regular treatments; and the top layers of skin are not peeled or traumatized in the process.

Eyebrow threading is a technique to remove facial hair in which a thread is twisted and rolled along the surface of the skin.

FAQ:

Does threading hurt?

The sensation usually takes 1-2 times to get used to, but customers say it hurts less than waxing. Many customers say it doesn’t hurt at all.
Why is threading better than waxing, tweezing and razors?
Waxing tends to burn, peel, and irritate the skin, especially the skin around the eyes. In addition, repeated waxing increases the chances of wrinkles, especially around the sensitive eye area. Tweezing and razors increase the chances of in-grown hairs and cutting the skin. Waxing, tweezing, and razors all make facial hair grow back thicker and faster.  Threading is more precise and the hair grows back thinner and slower; there is also no burning, peeling, or irritation, and is good for getting rid of in-grown hairs.

How often do I have to do threading?
It varies from person to person but for eyebrows, usually every 2-4 weeks.
